to encourage reading and Library use positively. Unfortunately, Reading
habit has lost importance as both the young and the old are glued to T.V
and other.
The teachers can achieve this by

Telling pupils of books that might be of their
interest.

Excusing pupils to go to the Library as the need for
reference material arises.

Making assignments requiring the pupils to use
Library resources.

Distributing suggested readings through mimeographed
materials.
